Weekly Must-Have: Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

Weekly Must-Have: Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

This isn’t a new product, but it’s certainly a must-have. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer is my current go-to for any and all concealing needs. From under-eye circles to zits, discoloration to lackluster tone, this concealer covers it all without looking like I’m masking my imperfections.

The medium-to-full coverage concealer offers buildable coverage while also highlighting and contouring imperfections. I suggest using at least two different shades: one that is a shade lighter than you skin tone to add a subtle highlight to areas like the cupid’s bow, under eyes, and nasal folds (without any shimmer!), and then another that is your exact skin tone match for zits and discoloration.

Celebrity makeup artist Hrush (she works with Jennifer Lopez and Kylie Jenner) turned me onto this concealer. She said to apply it post foundation and powder, let it sit on your skin while you do the rest of your face (eyes, brows, lips). Allow it to become sticky or tacky. Then, as the final step, blend the remainder into the skin with your finger or a BeautyBlender. This way, it already adheres to the skin and will have serious staying power, instead of melting away. Always spot treat with extra powder to seal it all in.

The Nars Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer lives up to its name: creamy, so blending is effortless. The formula is suitable for all skin types and helps the barrier retain moisture, hence the creaseless finish. It’s also ideal to blur the look of fine lines and redness without having to use foundation. I’ve gotten to the point where I only use the concealer during the day — no foundation necessary. This celeb and makeup artist must-have has become a staple in my makeup bag.
