Weekly Must-Have: L’Oreal Brow Stylist Shape and Fill Pencil
Another week, another brow product must-have (are you sensing a theme yet?). The quest for perfectly full arches continues… and this drugstore find is my current go-to for nighttime filling and styling (plus my brow gel of choice) — when I want to create a statement brow.
L’Oreal Brow Stylist Shape and Fill Pencil is the best $10 I’ve spent on my arches in ages. It actually reminds me of the Tom Ford Brow Brow Sculptor (at $52!), but I like this one even more — and it costs 1/5 of the price. The pencil is just the right amount of waxiness for easy application with major pigment. Meaning: it won’t tug or pull on brows, you don’t have to have a heavy-hand to apply, and the brown color transfers rather easily to sparse areas for a full brow finish. The pencil is more like a crayon in the malleability department, and it’s designed on an angle (same as the Tom Ford Brow Sculptor), so the triangular tip precisely outlines, easily shades, and evenly fills in brows. The other side has a spoolie, which comes in very hand when you want to blend color into the hairs for more even distribution. Plus, I like to use a spoolie post-brow gel to actually set my brows in place. Try it: it really works.
I don’t think I’m giving enough credit to the color, because the brown shade isn’t ashy like so many brow pencils — it’s a bit more warm and bold, and it really blends in well with my naturally dark brown hairs. Bonus: the color lasts just as long as most of the expensive brow pencils. In fact, it may actually last longer. Score.
Buy in bulk: L’Oreal Brow Stylist Shape and Fill Pencil is about to become your brows’ best friend.
