Weekly Must-Have: Kjaer Weis Radiance Highlighter

Weekly Must-Have: Kjaer Weis Radiance Highlighter

Until a few weeks ago, I was never a highlighter person. For a midday pick-me-up, I would rely on some bronzer or a dab of YSL Touché Éclat ($40). I never knew what my face was missing until I tried the Kjaer Weis Radiance Highlighter.

This product is a perfect shade of warm pearl. Dab it on cheekbones, nose, or brow line for a model-worthy, natural, “inner” glow. I apply with my fingertips whenever I need a little extra something-something. Whether I feel drab from lack of sleep, bad fluorescent office lighting, or a killer hangover, this stuff perks my skin right up. It has a silky smooth texture that is easily blendable and disappears into the skin for a halo effect.

An added plus is that the formula is actually good for your skin. It’s chock-full of organic ingredients like sweet almond seed and jojoba seed oil, both natural emollients that promote skin elasticity. Makeup that makes my skin look and feel younger? A win-win in my book.

Although the actual formula inside is paramount, the gorgeous packaging on all Kjaer Weis products cannot be ignored. Each comes in a luxe silver compact that can be easily refilled… how eco-chic! And it doesn’t stop there. I was hesitant to throw out the outer box that the silver-cased product came in as it’s made of the most gorgeous cranberry corrugated paper: I swear it’s the same as Cartier uses. It may not have a diamond inside, but this box definitely contains some serious sparkle of its own.

Use sparingly and get your glow on.

PRICE TAG: $56 (For today, go to Sarah’s new website Vainité here and purchase this highlighter for $45! + other Kjaer Weis products at exclusive prices)
