Weekly Must-Have: Allies of Skin Molecular Saviour Toner Mist

Weekly Must-Have: Allies of Skin Molecular Saviour Toner Mist

During the dog days of summer, certain things are needed for survival: sunscreen, water, deodorant, rosé, and face mist top the list.  Why the last one, you ask?  Because you’ll be hard-pressed to find anything quite as refreshing (next to a dip into a cold pool), which isn’t exactly attainable on a random steamy Tuesday morning when you need to cool down after a particularly muggy subway ride.

To be fair, most mists felt largely equal before I encountered Allies of Skin Molecular Saviour Toner Mist.  I previously rotated through a variety of perfectly acceptable rosewater or hydrating mists that got the job done, but weren’t exactly anything special; they just felt nice and were pleasant to use.  After realizing that one of my previous favorites was filled with essential oils that I prefer to avoid, I decided to test out this Allies of Skin formula, since I had such great luck with their cleanser.

While this product is still rosewater based, it contains a host of other ingredients that skyrocket it to cult status. Soothing probiotics, antibacterial colloidal silver, aloe vera, and several antioxidants make this product powerful and refreshing. It’s also formulated with an anti-evaporation molecule that clings to skin cells for lasting hydration. Skin is left dewy, glowing, refreshed, and hydrated. Quadruple POW.

The price may feel a bit steep compared to other mists, but it really deserves a category of its own considering it hydrates, calms, and restores stressed and hot skin. In these heat wave days, it’s worth every last penny.
