#TBT: Ck One

Did you wear ck one in high school or college?  We sure did. The clean, fresh scent was meant to be generously splashed all over the body–just look at the bottle design! Since the formula is unisex, there was always a high probability of smelling it on yourself and on your beau.

Just as memorable as the smell of Ck One is the heroine-chic baby Kate Moss advertisements from the nineties that quite literally prove that sex sells. Always pushing the envelope, Calvin Klein quote literally defined a generation with his unisex scents and his provocative advertisements. Take a peek at the ad for ck two, available in February, and let us know in the comments if you think the second version will have as much of an impact.

Unisex fragrances have an undeniably sexy quality, no matter how good their ads are.  Here are some more of our favorites:

Le Labo Neroli 36 ($160) smells like sunshine and orange blossom, therefore instantly raising any mood.

Kiehl’s Original Musk is an absolute classic, and for good reason. You and your mister will certainly be sharing this bottle.

Because Fresh Hesperides Grapefruit ($48) has a bolder blend of various citrus fruits, it is much more complex than your standard grapefruit scent.

For a night out, Maison Martin Margiela Replica Jazz Club ($125) is smoky and spicy, and quite literally says “come hither…”
