Pretty Palettes For Spring

We, at Beauty Banter, are big into palettes. We love the easy-breazy way a palette allows you to mix and match multiple colors and create a medley of looks. We’re also fans of traveling with a palette — it’s a lot less products to throw into a makeup bag, and a lot less guessing game of which shades will compliment each other.

This spring, we’re eyeing a few fabulous palettes (and not just for the eyes). Here are our favorite palettes for face, cheeks, and eyes.

For a face palette to be worth its price, we’re looking for bronzers, contours, highlighters, and, perhaps, even a few blush shades. But definitely enough product variety to shade and chisel our cheekbones into model-like perfection (this is key).

Pops of color, usually ones that mix well together but can easily be worn solo, is the key to finding the perfect palette of blushes. We like variety and wearability: the more wearable the color options, the more we want to own it.

We love an eye palette that mixes finishes (matte, shimmer, velvet, etc) and groups like-minded colors together for easy and wearable combos. The best is when you actually want to use every single shadow shade in the palette – and can create a variety of looks, from a smokey eye to a wash of color; that’s what we’re striving for.
