Makeup…Without the Brushes

Even though we’ve mastered our makeup brushes, we’re still game for beauty products that don’t require a lot of tools and effort. Some call it lazy, we call it maximizing. We may be busy gals, but that doesn’t mean we want to sacrifice our beauty routines. So when offered makeup products that “do it all,” we celebrate. Makeup on-the-go is now doable and touch-ups, a breeze.

Try one of these multi-use makeup crayons…

Tarte Clay Stick Foundation ($39) – Creamy, blendable and buildable, long-wear, and doesn’t require a single brush to apply. Oh and it’s also got good-for-skin ingredients. A game-changer.

Laura Mercier J’adore le Soleil Sunrise Highlighter Crayon ($32) and J’adore le Soleil Sunset Bronzing Crayon ($32) – Contour, bronze, and highlight with these crayons making us look like tanned beauties. We’re applying to eyelids too.

Catrice Made To Stay Highlighter Pen ($5) – We’re loving the size and shape of this versatile pen…tiny enough to brighten the inner corners of eyes and highlight smaller parts of the face (i.e. nose bridge & cupid’s bow) with ease.

Nudestix Lip + Cheek Pencil ($24) – Forget trying to match lip liner and lipstick, these pencils offer moisturizing lip color + lip liner…oh, and a cheek stain. Don’t leave home without one.

Charlotte Tilbury Color Chameleon Color Morphing Eyeshadow Pencil ($27) – A natural daytime look can easily transform into a smokey eye with these eyeshadow pencils. No need to pull out each and every eye makeup brush, just glide pencil over eyelids and voilà, fierce eye makeup that also enhances natural eye color. Boom!

Milk Makeup Holographic Stick ($28) – A highlighting push-pop for your face. Also try the Lip + Cheek ($24)…makeup has never been this easy.

Nars The Multiple ($39) – Can be, and should be used literally all-over! A full face and body highlight are all within limits of this shimmery makeup stick. Good enough to replace a few (if we can part with them) products from our makeup bags.
