How To: I started by applying the Beauty Powder – over my foundation – to my cheeks, nose, eyes and neck. It gives the face an extra kick of shimmering beauty. I used Let’s Skate (Paint Pot), a pearly pale pink, on my eye lids and continued to my brow bone (use with your finger). I applied the Crushed Metallic in Pearl, a glittery ivory, to just my lids, followed by Rose Light, a glittering pale pink to the inner corners of my eyes and finished with Spicy Smoke, a super pigmented cranberry color, in my crease and I blended inwards and outwards to create a layered, colored eye. ***For easier maneuvering, apply Crushed Metallic Pigments with your fingers… like finger painting! After having fun with my fingers, I took my blending brush and smoked the color out in quick circular swirls and continued under my lower lashes to continue the smoky eye look. I used the Technakohl liner in a light gold to line inside my lower lash line. I dabbed the left over Crushed Pigments from my finger tips onto my cheeks to create a berry-hued, shimmering blush. For lips, I started with Dressed To Dazzle, a shimmery nude with undertones of pink, and layered with Cremesheen Over Indulgence for a less-shimmery-but-still-fabulous, sheen, glossy lip. (I figured that eyes were ultra sparkly, lips didn’t need to be). I finished the look by gently dabbing Let’s Skate just above my cheekbones to accentuate. Lot’s of shimmer!
Did You Know: The Dazzlesphere’s (which happen to double as fab Christmas Tree ornaments) come with 4 shadows and 4 glosses in numerous color combinations so you can mix and match lips and eyes. You only need a small amount of the Crushed Metallic Pigments as they are extremely vibrant. I first applied with a brush and felt that I didn’t have enough control over the pigment, so I ended up using my finger and loving how easily the shadows mixed together, creating a very colorful holiday eye. Final thought: Apply under eye concealer AFTER shadow as the finely milled pigments will definitely fall onto the skin around your eye. Clean off the mess with a Q-Tip and finish with concealer.
