Gift Guide Part II: Best Palettes
We already brought you over-the-top luxury beauty finds to gift the girl that has it all, next up in our gift guide series is one of our favorite things to buy this time of year: palettes! Makeup palettes are not only practical, but they’re an exciting way to experiment with a brand’s various shades alongside some of your tried-and-true favorites. Even better, palettes are always a good bang for your buck when comparing the amount of product inside for the price.
Here are our favorite limited-editions for this holiday season to gift to your mom, a secret santa recipient, or yourself:
Don’t even try to get your holiday glow on without the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit ($80). With just a few artful strokes, you’ll be more lit than your boozehound coworker at the company holiday party (…and unlike her, in a good way!).
Lipstick fiends will love the Bobbi Brown Crazy for Color Lip Palette ($45) that has six of the brand’s best-selling lip shades. Wear alone, or mix and match for a plethora of puckers.
The NARS Steven Klein Collaboration One Shocking Moment Cheek Palette ($69) is basically a cheeky wardrobe. With four blushes, a contouring duo, and a Laguna bronzer, all of your cheek’s desires will certainly be met.
Even the greatest palettes tend to include a color that has you scratching your head and asking, who really wears that? That is far from the case with Laura Mercier’s Sleek and Chic Eye Colour Palette ($55). Each color is more wearable than the next, and will last you long after the winter season.
A real overachiever, the Yves Saint Laurent Kiss & Love Palette ($95) includes eyeshadows, blush, and lip colors. Better yet, it’s small enough to pop in a clutch for on-the-go touch-ups.
