#BeautyCrush: Margot Robbie

#BeautyCrush: Margot Robbie

Nobody embodies the definition of blonde bombshell quite like Margot Robbie. Gorgeous locks, a luminous complexion, and perfectly plump lips, check, check, and check. Long before she was the sexy (and very likable) villain Harley Quinn, Margot has been slaying red carpet after red carpet with her everyday barely-there makeup perfection.

Read on as we gush about all things beauty from our current #beautycrush…

Margot is only 26 (!!!), and has said that she wants her skin to reflect that, adopting a maximized skincare routine that includes misting herself “like crazy” with Caudalie Beauty Elixir ($18) to refresh, set makeup, and tighten and tone her complexion. Margot also never skips SPF and swears by sheet masks, like 111Skin Bio Cellulose Facial Treatment Mask ($160) and La Prairie moisturizers and eye creams, like La Prairie Anti-Aging Eye Cream SPF 15 ($185). To keep her skin clear and healthy, Margot explains that she NEVER goes to bed with makeup on, no matter how “drunk” she may be.

Margot’s perfect pout screams for red lipstick and makes the rest of us look like we’re playing with makeup for the first time (sigh). But just like us, even Margot has makeup faux pas and says that she prefers a stained lip balm like Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment ($24) over lipstick. To perfect her I’m not wearing any makeup-makeup, Margot mixes foundation with her moisturizer for a tinted moisturizer effect and raves about Ellis Faas Skin Veil ($90) with SPF 15 and Laura MercierSecret Camouflage concealer ($35) for touch-ups. Her go-to mascara, Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effet Faux Cils Luxurious Mascara ($32,) and a dab of Laura Mercier Stick Face Color ($34) on cheeks. Voila! While we’ve loved Margot’s fierce makeup on red carpets and film, she prefers minimal makeup to avoid looking older. Take note.

Margot’s blonde locks are one for the books. Side swept and polished, short or long, and wavy—her hair always looks salon-done. She credits her gorgeous mane to her hair stylist and sprucing up her tresses between washes with her favorite dry shampoo, Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk ($20).

Margot says that she prefers 8-hours of sleep to an hour at the gym; a girl after our own hearts. But she admits that she maintains her figure by doing exercise that “doesn’t feel like exercise,” like dancing and tennis.
