What’s your beauty vibe?
My beauty vibe is definitely classic and relaxed. I like to keep my makeup minimal and natural most of the time, with the occasional red/orange lip or cat eye. But generally, if I do that, I keep the rest simple and let that be the statement.

What’s the first beauty product you owned and loved?
When I was in sixth grade, I bought a tube of bright turquoise eyeliner from MAC. I wore it everyday for a year; I was convinced I didn’t look good without it. I’m not sure why I loved it so much but I’m fairly positive it all stemmed from my obsession with David Bowie.

What’s your favorite beauty treatment splurge?
My favorite beauty splurge is a chemical peel at my dermatologist, Dr. Parrish Sadeghi.

What’s your daily makeup routine — and how long does it take?
My daily makeup routine starts with Josie Maran’s Argan Oil as my moisturizer. This also allows for me to forgo any sort of primer as it gives the skin a really nice texture for makeup. Depending on the day, I will either use La Roche-Posay’s Tinted Mineral Sunscreen or Cover Fx’s Natural Finish Foundation in G30. For blush, I use the Nars Multiple in Orgasm; I love that it stays dewy and fresh and it’s super easy to use. For my under eye area, I use the Nars Creamy Concealer in Vanilla. After that, I gel my eyebrows with the clear Anastasia Eyebrow Gel, and then I finish with my favorite mascara, which is the CoverGirl Clump Crusher in black. All-in-all, my routine takes five minutes or less.

What’s your daily skincare routine?
My daily skincare routine is fairly simple. I use the Cerave Hydrating Face Wash, followed by their Eye Repair Cream, and then I finish with Josie Maran’s Argan Oil. Every so often, I use Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 1970 when I feel like my skin needs a little extra loving.

Age gracefully or filler and botox, please and thanks?
Ideally age gracefully, although I can’t speak for my future self.

What product do you buy in bulk?
Aquaphor! I love it. I use it as lip balm, and I am pretty sure you can find a tube in every purse or jacket I own.

What’s your save-the-day hair product and why?
I love the the Oribe Run-Through Detangling Primer. I have super fine hair that gets tangled really easily and this makes it so much easier to manage and gives my hair a really nice weight and texture to it.

Who is responsible for your hair – cut and color?
Nikki Pittam at Harper Salon in Los Angeles. She is amazing.

Best piece of beauty advice you’ve received?
Growing up, my mother always told me to stay ahead of things. Use SPF, eye cream, etc. It’s always easier to prevent than correct.

Who is your beauty icon, and why?
Francoise Hardy. I love her balance between natural and edgy.

What’s your least favorite beauty trend/ look?
That’s a tough one. To be honest, I don’t really have a least favorite. Beauty is an expression and very subjective, so I find them all interesting because it’s a medium for people to show their personality.

If you could only do one beauty treatment on the weekly, what would it be and why?
Definitely a massage. I would have one every day if I could.

What’s your best kept beauty secret?
Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 1970 is magic in a bottle. It’s a clarifying toner that doesn’t strip your skin and keeps it hydrated while improving the texture. It changed my skin overnight. Literally.
