Weekly Must-Have:
RepHair by Pierre Michel

One of my lifelong dreams was to create a hair care line from formulation to packaging — and I’ve finally accomplished this goal. I’m so excited to introduce my passion project RepHair by Pierre Michel, a hair care system created in conjunction with the Pierre Michel Salon. The 4 organic products conjunction with one another to achieve beautiful, healthy, rehabilitatedĀ hair.

The idea for RepHair came about a few years ago after my father, Pierre, and his business partner, Michel, began using the Brazilian bark called AC-11 in its powder form and pouring it into lotions to treat sun exposed skin (my father loves himself a sun tan). The quick and miraculous ability to increase cell turnover and keep the skin healthy despite sun exposure led both my father and Michel to ponder the concept of adding the powdered bark into shampoo and seeing how it changed the state of hair. A quick note: AC-11, indigenous to the Brazilian rainforest, is known for its unique ability to repair and restore your DNA. Lo and behold, after just one shampoo, Michel’s wife, a woman in her fifties with fine hair, noticed mega volume and shine that she hadn’t seen in years. And within a few washes, Michel, a man in his sixties – balding and grey – noticed new hairs sprouting up that weren’t grey but the natural color of his youthful hair. They knew then and there that they had stumbled onto the holy grail of hair care ingredients.

It took a few years to develop and perfect the line and that’s where I came in. I have tried and tested thousands upon thousands of shampoos and conditioners and I knew that for this system to be successful, it would have to be simple. First and foremost, we took out everything that could possibly destroy your hair – sulfates, parabens, petrochemicals and silicones are not a part of our products. Then we created a shampoo that is gentle enough for everyday use. One that won’t over dry or strip hair of color, but still cleans — and well. This is, by far, the best shampoo that I have ever used. The trick is to let the shampoo set in your hair and scalp for 3 minutes while you go about your business of exfoliating your body or shaving your lady – or man – parts. It allows the AC-11 to deeply penetrate the scalp, therefore giving you that mega volume, shine and deep clean that you deserve.

The everyday conditioner is light and weightless, perfect for men and women with fine or thinning hair. It works best when used directly after the shampoo and combed through before rinsing. You will notice an immediate difference in the manageability of your hair, but most importantly, in the thickness. But for severely damaged hair – or ladies with thicker locks like myself – the hair mask works wonders as a daily conditioner. Leave it on for 2-3 minutes, rinse, and your hair will feel as smooth and soft as it did pre color, pollutants, sun, and age. For weekly maintenance, all hair types can use the hair mask 1-2 times a week as a treatment by leaving it on for 15-20 minutes. Ideally, wrapping hair inside a shower cap and adding heat from a blow dryer for a few minutes would allow the AC-11 to really take action and penetrate the hair shaft but it will work either way. This hair mask is God’s gift. I adore it.

The final step is the spray, a multipurpose product that detangles while adding volume. The key to this product is to shake well, then apply thoroughly throughout hair so that the AC-11 is evenly dispersed onto each strand. That means spraying all the way from roots to tips and following with a bristled brush. The spray gives the AC-11 the opportunity to penetrate the hair all day, especially good if you are using any styling tools as the heat will, once again, activate the ingredient.

It’s that simple: Four steps to Brazilian bombshell hair. Oh, and did I mention that it’s also a treat for your senses? The rosemary mint fragrance is meant to not only awaken your scalp but also your mind…. what a way to start the day! I hope that you enjoy the products as much as we do! xxx

Congrats Sarah! This looks like a great line–I really like that it’s sulfate and paraben free. I also like the scent you chose–I used Aveda’s Rosemary Mint shampoo for a while and really liked how invigorating and refreshing the scent was. I’ll have to check out these products!

I ordered products for $110.00 almost a month ago after reading your post. My money is gone, but no products in the mail. Is this a scam?

I clicked onto the website, added the products into my cart but the cart remains empty for some reason. There is no contact info or ‘about us’, which is strange. Also missing is the usual security symbol near the credit card logos (the only thing other than the copyright at the foot of every page). There is also no info about the supplements and a suspicious lack of info about the other products. It does appear very odd and with the comment above from the woman who ordered and paid for products a month ago and never received them, looks like a scam. What’s the deal?
