Weekly Must-Have: La Prairie Cellular Emulsion Matte Pore Minimizer
Erratic weather leads to erratic skin – and that’s precisely my problem as of late. One morning I am oily, then next I am dry. Finding a moisturizer to balance this can be a difficult feat. Thankfully, La Prairie’s latest launch, Cellular Emulsion Matte Pore Minimizer, can handle the pressure.
I always thought of La Prairie as my mother’s skincare line – products that for dry, mature complexions. But this newly launched lightweight moisturizer is ideal for my skin – oily yet showing signs of aging. Working to address 5 key factors: enlarged pores, lines and wrinkles, discoloration, redness and irritation, and hydration. The worst thing an oily complexion can do, is dry it out so hydration is key. As for keeping the texture matte, La Prairie Cellular Emulsion Matte Pore Minimizer does that too. I’ve been applying as a moisturizer but really using it as a primer, pre makeup. It keeps the makeup set while offering a tighter, brighter more even complexion.
Cellular Emulsion Matte Pore Minimizer reminds me of Clarin’s Beauty Flash Balm (at $45, an affordable alternative) but with added long-term benefits of reducing pore size and relaxing fine lines and wrinkles. Lentil Seed Extract stimulates collagen production to help tighten up the pore wall, and diminish the look of enlarged pores.
An epic multitasking moisturizer that is perfect for oily/ acne-prone complexions that still yearn for anti-aging benefits — just in time for summer!
