Weekly Must-Have: Glossier Cloud Paint

Weekly Must-Have: Glossier Cloud Paint

Cream-blush is my jam.  It gives me the ideal flush to look like the healthier version of myself. Although I needed another one like I need a new mascara, my Glossier-adoring self couldn’t resist the launch of Glossier Cloud Paint.  The inspiration of gradient pink NYC sunsets wasn’t what sold me, although that does sound pretty gorgeous. Rather, it was their claim to be “idiot-proof.”

You see, with most formulas I find myself having to buff away excess (usually with this brush) to avoid looking like that terrifying new clown emoji.  Not with this product. Cloud paint is to cream blush what Boy Brow is to brow pencils. It is buildable by design and so easy to apply that it’s literally goof-proof.  Truly.  Glossier even describes Cloud Paint as finger painting for your face.

Although I still reach for my beloved Tata Harper Volumizing Lip & Cheek Tint on the regular, Cloud Paint has heavily entered into my rotation.  As the weather gets warmer, I find its sheer, non-creamy formula longer lasting on balmier days to avoid too much dew.

In terms of colors, it really depends on your personal preference and your skin tone.  My pale a$s self adores Puff for an uber-sweet, pink-cheeked cherub glow, whereas Haze gives an amazing post-workout flush, even if I’ve been sitting on my couch for 8 hours straight.
