#NoFilter: Use These Products For IRL Filter Results

Imagine taking a selfie and uploading it sans filter…without thinking twice. Everyone’s favorite app can make us look like everything from a cute puppy to a Victoria’s Secret model with filters that blur imperfections, enhance our best features, and highlight like we’re from the heavens.  While we love a good filter, we’d also love to walk around with the same confidence of that #WokeUpLikeThis selfie we just posted.

Thanks to Snapchat, makeup has focused on giving us instant, filter-like results (i.e. blurring, soft focus, light-diffusing, HD), so we can always give good face, IRL.

Read on for some products that promise to make us look like a Snapchat filter, all day, everyday.

Glamglow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer ($49) – A moisturizer with a touch of pigment and iridescent illuminating pearl particles to create a luminous complexion that’s camera-ready even before makeup…well, almost.

Becca Backlight Filter Face Primer ($38) – It’s in the name, but seriously this primer creates a flawless canvas with “Filtering Luminescent Pearls” that add diffused light, like  our favorite Snapchat filter.

Stila Stay All Day 10-In-One HD Illuminating Beauty Balm ($38) – An anti-aging, high-definition beauty balm with SPF, truly all-in-one! Illuminates skin with micro-spheres for a lit-from-within glow.

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation ($43) and Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Hydrating Foundation ($42) – Designed for movie sets, both offer high performance, flawless coverage, good enough to stay put through a shoot…and obviously our 9-to-5.

Smashbox Camera Ready BB Water ($42) – A silky liquid that offers a sheer finish, minimizing the look of pores and fine lines, for skin that reflects light with a natural-looking highlight.

Milk Makeup Blur Stick ($36) – A universal filtering stick, it reduces the look of pores, prepping the complexion for makeup. Bonus: It works on every skin tone.

Emily Ratajkowski was lit at this year’s Oscars…literally! Celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo used Marc Jacobs Beauty Glow Stick Glistening Illuminator ($42) on @emrata to create that otherworldly glow. It was gorge, check it out.

Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Blush ($26) – A finely-milled, super blendable blush with light-diffusing pigments, for a heavenly flush without the silly bunny ears. And it stays put for 8 hours!

Becca Soft Light Blurring Setting Powder ($38) – This powder adds a veil of gorgeousness, blurring imperfections with “microspheres” that scatter light for a photo-ready complexion. Put your best face forward!
