How-To Video:
Apply Cream Blush for an Airbrushed Effect

(click “read more” for the video tutorial)

Watch the video to learn how to apply cream blush with a blush brush for an airbrushed effect, certainly one of my favorite tricks for blush application. Staying on-trend with dewy skin, cream blushes are perfect as they dye the skin, creating a luminous, bold cheek.

I am certainly partial to a pink blush as I always feel that it makes a face smile, but you can achieve the same airbrushed look with any color: coral, berry, red, peach, etc.

Products Used:
MAC Cremeblend Blush in So Sweet, So Easy
Senna Cosmetics Angle Blush 506 (I love an angle brush)
Senna Cosmetics Deluxe Powder 610

*Sadly, Senna doesn’t seem to make the dual-sided brush any longer, but I have listed the two brushes used on each side above. You now can purchase them separately.

  1. Great video! I used to only apply cream blush with my fingers–but as you mentioned, I felt like it was always patchy and uneven. I recently started using a stippling brush or a flat paddle brush and it works a charm! Haven’t tried a regular fluffy blush brush but I definitely will now!
