How To: I love a good gilded eye so I stuck with the gold and bronze shades. I started by applying the shimmering gold beige on my lids as a base. The product is best when used with a finger (instead of the brush that the set comes with). I layered the shimmer on my brow bone to accentuate and highlight. I used the shadow stick in taupe on the outer corners of my eyes and used a brush to blend it. I applied the shadow stick in Bronze on my upper and lower lash lines and smudged (inwards) gently with my finger. This eye is completely contained on the lid – I did not smoke it out or up. For lips, I mixed Nectar, a shimmering flesh gloss, with Berry, a sheer plum to create the perfect sheen-mauve hue.

Did You Know: All of the shadows are a cream-like consistency but dry quickly into a waterproof powder (and this stuff stays put!). Make sure to smudge quickly (but gently!) before it dries. The sticks glide on super easily and you can smudge or smoke out with a brush or finger. You can use the lip glosses as highlighters on eyes and cheeks for a subtle glossy sheen (I actually did this with the flesh color – apply with fingers). It gives a great mix of textures.
