Holiday Collection: Nars

Collection: Holiday 2011

Products Used:
The Multiple in G-Spot ($39.00)
Arabian Nights Eyeshadow Trio (Black with red pearls / Black with purple pearls / Black with gunmetal shimmer($45.00)
Heat Wave Lipstick in Joyous Red (amber red) ($24.00)
Miss Liberty Highlighting Blush ($27.00)
Duo Eyeshadow in Mandchorie (Golden-infused denim/ Rich navy) ($33.00)

How To: After foundation I swept Miss Liberty Highlighting Blush over cheeks, eyes (as a base), and a bit on forehead and chin. I used the Golden-infused denim – a grey hue – from the eyeshadow duo on the lid of my eyes. This appeared extremely dark so I used my finger to smoke outwards. I followed this with the Black with Red Pearls shadow – a deep black with cranberry specks – from the Arabian Nights Trio. I applied only in the crease, swept out for a smoky eye, and finished with a thin line of shadow under my lower lash line (for more of the smoky effect). I used the pencil just on my top lash line for a metallic silver pop. On cheeks, I applied The Multiple in G-Spot, a fab flush blush, and dabbed with finger around the apples. For lips, I used the Joyous Red, a semi-matte amber shade. When they call it “full bodied,” they’re not kidding. The color was a bit too overpowering so I blotted to make it more of a stain.

Did You Know: The shadows and liner are highly pigmented so I suggest starting light and layering for a darker look. If you end up with too much color, blot eyelids with a tissue – same way that you’d blot your lips… never rub! Rubbing causes wrinkles.

*Unless otherwise noted, face makeup is: Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in #6; RMS Beauty “Un”Cover-Up in #22. Brows are Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel in Espresso. Mascara is Lancome Definicils High Definition Mascara in Deep Black.
