DIY: Facialist Celia Wong’s Moisture Mask

In-between seasons can be confusing on your wardrobe and your skin. While winter’s harsh climate most likely left your complexion dry and dehydrated, spring brings with it a new lease on life – and your face. To ready your face for spring, you’ll need to inject mega-moisture into the skin to compensate for what winter took away. Facialist Celia Wong’s Moisture Mask is the perfect antidote for winter-to-spring skincare. It’s intensely hydrating and ridiculously simple to make. This “ultra hydrating moisture mask [is] for winter wrecked skin. It helps to rejuvenate skin and achieve optimal hydration just in time for spring,” says Celia.

What You’ll Need:
1 gel capsule black currant oil
1 tsp manuka honey
1 tsp organic coconut milk
1 gel capsule Vitamin B12
Bowl

Benefits:
Black Currant Oil – this contains the highest amount of gamma linolenic acids (an essential fatty acid and anti-inflammatory) known in nature. Black currant protects against environmental stressors while soothing dry and chapped skin.
Manuka Honey – A natural anitbacterial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that locks in moisture, heals damaged skin and fights off bacterias that can cause acne.
Organic Coconut Milk – Calms and hydrates dry and irritated skin.
Vitamin B12 – Aids in ridding inflammation and severely dry skin conditions like eczema.

Instructions:
Take a pin and pop the gel capsules. Squeeze the oils into a bowl with honey and coconut milk. Mix all ingredients. Massage onto face for a minute and leave on for an additional 10-15 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Do not store this product.
